"Public Health & Highway Safety: Saving Lives Together"
Highway safety and public health go together on the road toward zero traffic fatalities. The 2012 GHSA Annual Meeting will explore highway safety from the public health perspective, focusing on how to apply successes in public health and highway safety to continue improving safety on our nation's roadways.
The meeting also will examine how highway safety professionals can work more closely with the public health community to make highway safety a top public health priority.
The 2012 Annual Meeting is hosted by the Maryland Highway Safety Office.

Breakout workshops will cover a variety of topics, including: distracted driving, teen drivers, rural highway safety, drugged driving, EMS, pedestrian safety and technology, among others.
